Today, I sent my El Camino out into the world to see how far it will go. If you find it, take it as far as you can! Remember, I'm not responsible for any repairs on this automobile, but it is brand new and should give you many miles!
Stitch belongs to my grandson and hopefully when he grows up, he will see where all Stitch has been and get him interested in geocaching. This is where he gives me a final wave goodby before I send him on his way...
I put Stitch, my TB in a cache today. He's on his way to who knows where! You can follow him by # TB4JVF1
This is my 3rd. and final TB for this year. You can track the other 2 by these numbers; TB4JEP4 and TB4K5VV
Just got back from Metamora Ohio. Visiting some family and doing a little geocaching. Planted a TB coin in a park in town that I found in Troy last week. Recruited 2 more people to be interested in the game. Nice day to travel with very little traffic going and coming back.
I hope everyone has a merry Christmas. Don't forget to save some of your holiday pictures for the photo page!
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.
How is the game played ?
At its simplest level, geocaching requires these 8 steps:
Register for a free Basic Membership.
Visit the "Hide & Seek a Cache" page.
Enter your postal code and click "search."
Choose any geocache from the list and click on its name.
Enter the coordinates of the geocache into your GPS Device.
Use your GPS device to assist you in finding the hidden geocache.
Sign the logbook and return the geocache to its original location.
Share your geocaching stories and photos online.
